Etiquette Games and Activities

Good Manners Placemats:
One type is where the mats have a number of good manners listed or a set of activities you take part in, in order to learn those manners. The other type has diagrammatic instructions on where to place your cutlery as per good 'table manners'.

Well Mannered Doll:
Again one type would directly enlist manners, while the other teaches them through experience. If you remember the famous Tamagotchi, it taught children not specifically manners, but how to look after a pet, how to take care of it and how to behave in order to do so. This doll sings jingles on "manners" if you rub her tummy.

Acitivities and Board Games:
There are different activities and board games that can be viewed here. Where basically the learning is that Good manners sends a player ahead and Bad manners cards send a player backwards. There are board games like

Comics, Books, Cartoon Strips:
Children stories almost always have a moral of the story to teach children good manners and habits and how to behave. This also reminds me of the unique posters we saw in our childhood about so called "good habits" and being "an ideal boy/girl".
